Answer: I guess a diamond is cut cut cut with a knife instead of a laser or a saw. (Probably more expensive?)

Of course it is coarse grit ... Actually I have a steal knife and the edge doesn't have the correct angle ... What do You hint at!?

Answer: No it won't. Go to a metal machine shop and ask them to angle grind it for you. If they charge you anything, I would be surprised. We do this all the time for people, for untied. It only takes a second and creates a lot of goodwill.
