Deputies said a Spartanburg doctor's shtick indulgence was flooded by a garden hose during the weekend after someone drilled a hole through the roof.
According to a Spartanburg County Sheriff's Favour report, someone intentionally damaged the Weir Ear, Nose and Throat obligation on Dillon Drive in Spartanburg sometime between Friday at 5 p.m. and Monday at 8:30 a.m.
The dispatch said the suspect(s) got on the roof, drilled a hole through it, placed a garden hose through the depression and turned on the water. The water might have run the entire weekend, causing destruction to the building.
The water flooded part of the first floor and basement of the building, principally running into a storage room but missing the computers and records for the corporation, according to the report.
Deputies said the power will be shut off and business shut down until the erection is operational.
The report said the damage appeared to be worth at least $50,000, but there may be more as it's inspected. The Spartanburg construction codes office was called to inspect the damage.
