For years, Nancy Libous of Binghamton has been turning Christmas trees into works of art.
She's transformed pines into Christmas characters such as penguins, a snowman, an elf, and even Initiator Christmas.
This year, it's a character loved by children of all ages.
Any fan of the frequent with the Claymation film version of Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer will reward the sentry of the Island of Misfit Toys, Charlie in the Box!
"He's large and in protection and that's all there is to it," said Libous.
Libous said she got the idea for Charlie from Facebook.
Libous chose the end from a girl from Marywood University who wrote, "How about Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer?."
It was then Libous was reminded of the Holm of Misfit Toys and thought of Charlie.
